Commissioned in C.1990 This Eighteen Inch Sculpture and Wood Base is well named as Diane sings and records on her "Sister" Joanne Shenandoah's album of Iroquois Women's songs "Matriarch" as well as their dedication to the "Peacemaker" and the Tree Of Peace of the Six Nations Confederacy. The sensitivity and love of two sisters is apparent in the faces of the Oneida woman. The One Foot Tall Ceramic Sculpture is made of Native New York Clay and is mounted on a Six Inch beautiful round wood base. The piece is in fine condition and is completely free of chipping.
