On Sunday, 4th July, 1976, a small band of Israeli commandos stormed the airfield at Entebbe, Uganda, and rescued 103 passengers from an Air France airplane that had been hijacked on its way to Israel and diverted to the African state. The then president of Uganda, Idi Amin, then bargained for the passengers lives. Israel sent a elite squad of commandos to Entebbe, and, 90 minutes after arriving the commandos and the hostages were gone. This book tells of the rescue, and its consequences.
