Black cloth titled in gilt on the front cover and the spine, in a pictorial dust wrapper. There is foxing along the soiled spine of the dust jacket. The are also a couple of minor chips to the top of the jacket's rear panel. The edges of the book's covers are slightly rubbed and the tail of the book's spine is slightly faded. 216 pages, profusely illustrated throughout in black & white and color. Very good. First American edition. The introduction is by Ned Rorem. A broadsheet for New York City's screening of "Cocteau Generations: Spirit of the French Avant-Garde", presented by Joseph Papp at his "Film at the Public" series hosted by the Public Theater is laid in at the front of the book. The broadsheet is folded with a couple of ink spots marring the recto. Very good .
