Description: Hollywood, Universal Pictures Co. Inc. [1946]. [1946]. - A 10 inch high by 8-1/8 inch wide black & white vintage glossy photograph depicting Don Ameche from the chest up. Attired in a herringbone jacket over a white shirt and floral decorated tie, Ameche smiles at the camera. The number "DA-2" is printed in white within the bottom left of the image and Universal's credits are printed along the bottom border. Three holes are punched along the left edge with slight wear to the top one. Remnants of a press release adhere to the verso. Very good. This a vintage publicity photo, not a reproduction. Don Ameche co-starred with Myrna Loy in "So Goes My Love". Ameche plays the role of Hiram Maxim, the inventor of the automatic machine gun as well as a new type of curling iron, the latter invention playing a role in the movie. Very good .
