One of Tuscany's most beautiful monastic complexes, the Monastery and Church of San Niccolo was built between 1323 and 1328 as a monastery for Dominican nuns. The structure was expanded throughout the centuries until it became a conservatory at the end of the 18th century. The monastery served as a Catholic school for girls with a curriculum covering early childhood education through secondary school. Very good .
