Title: Eisteddfod": 8 Original Posters for Southeastern Massachusetts University's Eisteddfod Folk Music, Arts & Crafts Festival Designed by Howard T. Glasser.
Description: North Dartmouth, Massachusetts: Southeastern Massachusetts University, 1972 through 1982. [1972-1982]. [1972-1982]. - What is offered here is a lot of 8 posters designed by the founder of Southeastern Massachusetts University's Eisteddfod Folk Music, Dance, and Arts & Crafts Festival. Of these, 7 of the posters advertise events and performers appearing over the 3 days of the festival 1972 through 1982. An eighth poster is for the October 1977 Eisteddfod-Ceilidh evening of traditional Irish music presented at the University. All but the first Festival posters measure 17 inches high by 10-3/4 inches wide and are printed on creamy white stock, with the Ceilidh music poster, printed on light brown stock and measuring 10-3/4 inches high by 17 inches wide. The first poster for the September 22nd, 23rd & 24th, 1972 Eisteddfod festival is printed on white stock and measures 14 inches high by 8-1/2 inches wide. A woodcut portraying an American pilgrim riding a horse with a curved horn in his hand is engraved at the top of the 7 festival posters. There are some minor flaws, including light creases to the corners or edges. The edges of a few posters are very slightly darkened. Very good. The posters are as follows: 1.
