(1946). - A 10 inch high by 8 inch wide glossy black & white vintage photograph depicting young June Allyson, posing in fashionable denim shorts pulling on a rope tied to a wharf. The number "7452" is printed in white near the bottom right of the photo, and the credits "June Allyson - Metro Goldwyn-Mayer" are printed in while along the bottom left. There are minor creases to the edges and corners with some minor light staining to the margins and bottom right corner of the image. Three holes have been punched along the left edge. Good. This a vintage publicity photo, not a reproduction, sent out to newspapers and periodicals of the period. Text from a printed press release tipped onto the verso reads: "IT'LL BE A SHORT SUMMER -- and here are some film lovelies to prove it.... Addicted to tailored clothes, June Allyson, currently appearing in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's 'Two Sisters From Boston,' prefers strictly tailored shorts.
