The pages are slightly darkened & there is a tiny chip to the front edge of each of the last 2 leaves. Good. This is a promotional brochure for "Lydia Pinkham's Vegetable Compound". which also includes an ad for "Lydia Pinkham's Blood Medicine". An introductory letter from "Phyllis" to a correspondent is followed by a series of testimonials from women who have benefited from the Vegetable Compound. Each testimonial is preceded by a day's menus with a note of the total calories for the day. In the rear are additional testimonials, a chart of heights and desirable weights, and foods and recipes with calorie counts. Very good .
