Gray cloth titled within orange panels on the front cover and the spine, in the original color pictorial dust wrapper with the original price intact. The head and tail of the book's spine are lightly bumped. The edges of the stained dust jacket are chipped with a couple of longer tears. 292 pages. There is a previous owner's inscription on the front pastedown. There is a stain to the front edge of two pages. The endpapers and pastedowns are slightly darkened with a tiny stain to the front edge of the rear endpaper. Very good in a good dust wrapper. First American edition, first printing with the number "1" on the last page of text. "Death's Mannikins" is the second novel in the Jeffrey Blackburn series by the Australian playwright and novelist Max Afford.
