The covers are slightly bumped. 150 pages, with an embossed title page on fine heavy red stock. Illustrated with 13 full-page, 2 double-page, and 2 folding plates printed on fine heavy colored stock. A preface, the first line of which reads: "Astrology probably evolved from primitive Times when Man first related the events of his life to a power stronger than himself." This introductory page is followed by a daily appointment calendar printed in black & red on fine cream paper framed in red. The handsome black & white and color plates illustrate such subjects as the "Jambu Dwip - The Mantra of the Universe", "Surya - The Sun", "Chandra - The Moon", "The Zero", "Rashis - The Signs of the Zodiac", "The Footprint Mandala", "An Astrological Tankha", and "Janmapatri - The Horoscope", among others. Near fine. A beautiful paper sample book, in the form of a desktop calendar with an eastern astrological theme. RARE. Very good .
