Description: Late 19th Century. Late 19th Century. Good. - A collection of 150 prints relating to Boston and its environs. With a few exceptions, including a double-page "Chart of Jamaica Pond", a double-page "View of Court and Tremont Streets, Boston, with the New Iron Building", a color folding map "Outline Plan Showing the Growth of Boston, Thos W. Davis, City Surveyor, 1880", and a double-page print the merchants and folks at the "Corner of Washington and Boylston Streets, Boston, - The Old Boylston Martket", most are mounted or inlaid within 10-3/4 inch high by 7-1/2 inch wide sheets of heavier creamy stock. All are in generally good to very good condition. Among some of the prints are a view of "Skating on Jamaica Pond, Near Boston", a "Bird's Eye View of Fort Independence, in Boston Harbor", "The Chelsea Ferry, Boston Harbor", the "Interior of Tremont Temple on July 4th", a "View of Somerville, Mass. From the Ruin of the Ursuline Convent", a photograph of "Gore Hall", etc. Good .
