Description: Circa [1930s]. [1930s]. - A 3 inch high by 4-1/2 inch wide slip of paper is inscribed "For Miss Elinor Ann Schloss / with good wishes" in blue ink and signed "Julian Street". All but a small section of the paper is darkened & the top right-hand corner is creased. The verso is darkened with 2 strips of tape where the paper has been removed from an album. Good. Julian Street [1879-1947) was an American author, born in Chicago. He was a reporter on the New York Mail and Express in 1899 and was in charge of its dramatic department in 1900-01. His humorous writings included books and contributions to magazines and he twice won the O. Henry Award for his short stories. Good .
