This book was published in conjunction with an exhibition of Calabria's work from 1958 to 1987 presented by the Museo di Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome. Calabria, born in Tripoli in 1937, is described as "Roman by adoption". His work, surrealistic in style, embraces themes both personal and political and paintings of such figures as Gandhi, Mao, Ho Chi Minh and General Giap, as well as other paintings relating to Vietnam. Very good .
