Title: Continental Film Review. Vol. 20 No. 1.
Description: London, U.K.: Eurap Publishing Co. [1972]. [1972]. - Quarto [11-3/4 inches high by 8-1/4 inches wide], softcover bound in pictorial wrappers. The top corner of the front wrap is slightly creased. 35 pages. Profuse black-and-white & monochrome illustrations & pictorial ads. Very good. Continental Film Review covered mainly European cinema and foreign art house films. It highlighted the erotic elements in these films with illustrations generously featuring nude or semi-nude actors. This was the magazine's twentieth year. Its first issue was published in November 1952 and featured an unknown Brigitte Bardot who had just made her first film. Among the subjects covered in the November 1972 issue are "Mistress Pamela" [based on Samuel Richardson's "Pamela"], the London and Edinburgh Film Festivals, Brigitte Bardot's new film directed by Roger Vadim "Et si Don Juan etant une femme", and "The Temptations of Marianne". The front cover features a semi-nude Sylva Koscina with an insert of Gordon Fisher and Michele Mercure in "Loving and Laughing". Very good .
