Profuse illustrations in black & white and monochrome. Very good. Continental Film Review covered mainly European cinema and foreign art house films. It highlighted the erotic elements in these films with illustrations generously featuring nude or semi-nude actors. Among the contents of this issue are "The Rise and Fall of Superman: From D'Annunzio to Dongo", the second of three articles about Fascist cinema, cinema under the Nazis and current films being made about that period; an article about French actors in new films; and articles on "Brazil Today"; and Ingmar Bergman's "Cries and Whispers". The front cover features a nude actress draped in a white fur in "Il tuo piacere e il mio". On the rear cover Christine Schuberth is pictured in "Hungry for Sex". Very good .
