The original edition of Boyle's tract on electricity was published in London, along with eleven other tracts under the title "Experiments, Notes, etc." in 1675 and was reissued in 1898 and 1927. This is the first facsimile edition and was reproduced from the extremely rare first issue in the Burndy Library.
Printed on the front panel of the slipcase, below Boyle's portrait, is "Season's Greetings from Lt. Col. Bern Dibner / 1945". Bern Dibner [1898-1988] was an electrical engineer, industrialist, and historian of science and technology. He was the founder of the Burndy Library. a major collection in the history of science and technology. Fine .
