A fictionalized account of the life of white Brazilian slave- trader Francisco Felix de Souza, who moved to the West African country of Dahomey [now Benin] and was stationed at the country's slave port Ouidah. The King of Dahomey granted de Souza the title of Viceroy of Ouidah with a monopoly over the sale of slaves. Good .
