The dust wrapper is rubbed & chipped with a tear to the bottom edge of the front panel & small pieces out of the head & tail of the jacket spine. [v] & 239 pages. Very good in a good dust wrapper.

Philip Freund, who lived to the age of 99, was an indefatigable author, teacher, anthropologist and literary critic. He wrote scripts for 500 training scripts as part of the war effort and published numerous works of fiction, nonfiction and criticism, including "Dramatis Personae", a 3-volume, 9,000-page theatre history. The stories in this volume include "Solano!", "The Fiery Lake" and "A Demon Cloud". Good .
