The bottom left corner of the front cover is creased. 30 pages, including the covers and an unused page of peel-off stickers. The calendar is illustrated with 12 full-page color illustrations and vignettes by artist's from the "Caldecott Medal List of America's Distinguished Picture Books". A very good copy of this unused calendar.

The calendar pages celebrate important events in the history of children's books, including Dr. Seuss's birthday, Howard Pyle's birthday, E.B. White's birthday, Reading is Fun week, Banned Books week, etc. with full-page color illustrations by Suse MacDonald, Gerald McDermott, Barbara & Edward Emberley, Robert McCloskey, David Diaz, Kevin Henkes, Molly Bang, Jerry Pinkney, Jean Charlot, Lane Smith, Alice & Martin Provensen, and Elizabeth Orton Jones. Very good .
