INSCRIBED TO THE ARTIST & POET ROSE GRAUBART IGNATOW AND SIGNED BY EDWIN HONIG - Slim oblong octavo, 3 inches high by 8-1/4 inches wide. A 65 inch long double-sided accordion foldout, consisting of 22 panels, with a series of illustrations of cows in shades of black, white and gray by Jean Zaleski complementing Edwin Honig's poem, with the stanzas printed in silvery gray along the left edge of the panels on one side and with illustrations of cows' tails pictured on the verso. Mounted on the end panels are limp rust orange boards serving as covers with a black & white cover title illustration mounted on the front. The accordion broadsheet is further housed in a matching slipcase. The slipcase is slightly soiled with a Few light stains and some wear to the extremities. Only minor faint foxing to the left edge of the cover illustration mars the otherwise fine fold-out broadsheet.

Number 318 of a limited edition of 1000 numbered copies. Though not called for, this copy is inscribed by the author to the American artist and poet Rose Graubart [Ignatow] and signed by Edwin Honig. Very good .
