There are original linoleum cuts by Karel Stika [1898-1975], double-page frontispiece; Antonin Moravek [1896-1959], double-page color frontispiece; Bedrich Mudroch; V. Polivka [b. 1896]; Ota Bubenicek [1871-1962]. There are original woodcuts by Jaroslav Votruba [1889-1971]; Petr Pistelka [1887-1963]; Arnost Hrabal [1886-1969]; two woodcuts by Pavla Rousova-Vicenova [1884-1939];1 color woodcut & 1 woodcut in black, white & greenish gray by Jozka Baruch [1892-1966]; Antonin Dolezal [b. 1900-]; Ferdis Dusa [1888-1958]; Jaroslav Zoha [b.1909-]; Vladimir Sindler [b. 1891-]; a one-third-page woodcut by Josef Vachal [1884-1969].
