Profusely illustrated, including several contributions by Thomas Nast. The cover illustration depicts General Sheridan with a document entitled "Trial by Military Commission" on a drum behind him. Another image depicts President Grant hanging up his message on Louisiana Affairs. A quite good copy. Good .
