Profuse black-and-white illustrations with the 2 Grand Prize-winning billboards reproduced in color. Very good. Included in the 1955 annual are four reproductions of Irving Penn photographs, advertisements for Log Cabin Syrup [two], Jell-o and Plymouth. "The results of the 24th National Competition and Exhibit of Outdoor Advertising Art are presented in this book". The competition and exhibit were sponsored by Outdoor Advertising Incorporated, "the National Sales Representative for the outdoor medium". The Grand Prize winners in the 1955 competition were Ken Thompson and Morris Glickman of Young & Rubicam [ad for Lifesavers] and Jack Welch of Young & Rubicam [ad for Drake's cookies]. Very good .
