Good. - Quarto [11-1/4 inches high by 9 inches wide], softcover bound in color pictorial wrappers with a comic illustration by Bill Banks of Old Mother Hubbard's shoe as a fraternity house on the front wrap & an ad for Arrow collars on the rear wrap. The wraps are lightly bumped & soiled with a short tear to the front edge of each wrap & with the right lower edge of the front wrap roughed. 36 pages. Black-and-white illustrations, including cartoons, & pictorial ads. There are short tears & light creases to the front edges of the pages. The bottom edge of the first leaf is creased. The magazine is partially disbound with the covers separated from the text block & 2 loose pages. Good.

A student publication of Johns Hopkins University, described by the editorial board as "a humorous publication in a center of serious thought". Among the contents of this "Mother Goose Number" are parodies of nursery rhymes and bedtime stories and an adult version of a cut-out baby doll with clothes and accessories. Good .
