M. Dent vignette to front cover, brown topstain and fancy Knowles woodcut art at title page, endpapers & frontis. Volume lacks the dust jacket. --- With acidic staining to endpapers and a partial split near front of book (which doesn't affect the stability of the binding), otherwise a sound, unmarked, sturdy copy.; 16mo (6 to 7 in. tall); viii, 675 pages.
