M. Dent vignette to front cover, black topstain and fancy Knowles woodcut art at title page, endpapers & frontis. Volume lacks the dust jacket. --- The spine titling & decorations have tarnished and turned black, with prior Edinburgh owner's inked signature & info. to front free endpaper & moderate chafing to edges of cloth, else a sound copy. A weakened back hinge has been carefully repaired on this item.; 24mo (5 to 6 in. tall) ; xi, 413, 6 (ads) pages. Good with no dust jacket .
