TEG (top edge gilt), other edges deckled and with dark red ribbed endpapers. Lacks a dust jacket. --- With loosened front hinge and a couple of leaves near front of book along with small tears to cloth at front joint & some darkening to spine; else an intact, complete copy of this American classic.; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; (4), 426 pages.
