Includes an introductory explanation of the book's title by Rev. M. S. Rice. "Eddie" Guest, sometimes referred to as the "People's Poet," was a popular poet in the early part of the 20th century. Mr. Guest was born in England, but his family moved to Detroit, Michigan when he was 10. --- In flexible red leather boards with titling and decoration in bright gilt to cover; spine titling also in gilt, brown marbled endpapers and TEG (top edge gilt). Volume lacks a dust jacket. --- About one inch of leather covering at head of spine is missing, and with small bruises, chafed spots and blemishes to covers, as well as inked gift incription & ownership info. to front paste-down, otherwise a well-preserved copy.; 16mo - 6 to 7 in. tall; 185, (4) pages. Good+ with no dust jacket .
