With a brief letter by the author to Sir John Leman Rogers, president of the Madrigal Society, at front of volume. --- Bound attractively in three-quarter dark red leather, with blue/maroon/cream marbled paper-covered boards, and with matching marbled endpapers; top edge gilt. Six-compartment spine with gilt titling and horizontal rules; 5 raised bands. --- With chafing to leather at extremities, a small tear to paper at front gutter area, and with notations and signature in pencil and ink to front endpapers; otherwise a sound, sturdy volume.; Small Octavo - 7-1/2 to 8 in. tall; xxvi, ii, 338 pages.
