Dent vignette to front covers, dark topstain and fancy Knowles woodcut art at title pages, endpapers & frontis. Volumes lack the dust jackets. --- With somewhat mis-matched cloth, and with slightly darkened spine and prior owner's bookplate affixed to front paste-down of vol. I. Vol. II with a repaired front hinge, a small tear to cloth at upper front joint and prior owner's signature to p.1; else a clean, tightly-bound copy.; 16mo (6 to 7 in. tall); ix, 666, 719 pages.
