With brown marbled endpapers (with sticker removal damage to the front pastedown.) Pages somewhat yellowed and interior of volume a bit fragile, but firm and intact. A number of interior pages with foxing. An attractive, well-preserved example of mid-nineteenth century English fiction by the noted playwright/entertainer. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 512 pages.
