Containing laws relating to the organization of the Provincial Courts and Historical matters. Fully indexed and contains extensive historical notes. "Published under the direction of John Blair Linn.. compiled and edited by Staughton George, Benjamin M. Nead [and] Thomas McCamant" (title page). Contains the full te xt of the Duke of York's book of laws (1676) and Penn's charter/laws of 168 2 to 1700; plus facsimiles of 5 documents (2 each in front and rear endpape r pockets, 1 in text). Cloth bound. We provide delivery tracking on US orders. Book plate in front with "Clinton H. Coddington" imprinted. Clinton Coddington (Bud) was a well known West Point Graduate who practiced law in California. His vita partially reads "After four years in the Field Artillery, including command of Alpha Battery of the 7/11th in the 25th Inf Div, I left uniformed service to attend Boalt Hall School of Law at The University of California at Berkeley. After graduating in 1968, I became a member of the Calififornia Bar (with pro hoc vice admissions in numerous other states) and have continuously practiced for the past almost one-third of a century. I have devoted my efforts almost exclusively to the defense of the American aerospace industry — airlines, manufacturers of engines, avionics, pilots, airframes, etc. They say that I have tried more 747 cases than anyone else; I know that I have lost the biggest one of all — In Re Air Disaster at Lockerbie, Scotland, where I represented Pan American World Airways and all of the other defendants. Bud was a Pearl Harbor survivor. His father, L. Clinton Coddington, who was a Captain in the Army Air Corps stationed at Hickam Field at the time of the attack, later became a general in the Air Force. His late mother was Patricia Richer Coddington. As a young man Bud loved the Boy Scouts and became an Eagle Scout.Bud graduated from the United States Military Academy West Point, and was proud to be a member of the Long Gray Line. At West Point, Bud was a member of the Debate Team and traveled across the country participating in collegiate debate tournaments. After service in the United States Army, Bud attended the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law (Boalt Hall), and graduated in 1969. ; Engravings, charts;.
