A collection of articles on the political situation in Russia and the lives of Russian exiles abroad, it was compiled by Sergei Petrovich Melgunov (1879 - 1956) - prolific author, publisher, historian, politician, and one of very few socialists, who would advocate for taking up arms against Bolshevism after the Revolution. Sentenced to death in 1919 and forced into exile in 1922, Melgunov lived and worked in Paris, where he edited various emigre journals and wrote his most famous book - "Red Terror in Russia." Other contributors to the publication were historian Ivan Mikhailovich Kheraskov (1878 - 1963) and journalist and professor Anton Vladimirovich Kartashev (1875 - 1960). Good .
