Advertising broadside; 14 x 10 1/2; chromolithographed illustration and text in black to recto; three thin chips to top edge and upper right corner (not affecting image); a few closed cuts and a bit of rubbing, mostly to right edge; in good to very good condition. Issued by a Maine publisher and intended to be overprinted by businesses with their own advertisement, it featured a smiling toddler, sitting in an ornate chair, and her shaggy dog. It advertised Gould's in Boston, beginning with "Buy Your Hats..Also, a Full Line of Trunks, Bags, Gloves, Umbrellas..One Price, Open Evenings. Good .
