The Moran Shoe Company was founded in the early 20th century in Carlyle, Illinois by John L. Moran, who would become the President of the National Shoe Manufacturers Association and Head of the Shoe Division of the War Production Board during the Second World War. The company would be known for being the largest exclusive infants' shoe manufacturer. The current brochure was published as an advertisement for the business' Wee Walkers line products and described in detail the proper fit, all around, of the baby shoes as well as provided an outline, where parents could actually position the baby's foot and measure the correct size. It also included an x-ray study of children's feet, which had been ruined by improper shoes. Very good .
