An ambitious endeavor, the book celebrated 100 years of struggle against the "hated Tsarist regime," beginning with the secret preparations for the Decembrist Revolt in 1820 and ending with the victory of the Red Army and the establishment of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. Chapters covered the Decembrists, the ruling of Nikolai I, Aleksandr II, the October Revolution, Lenin, the Provisional Government, etc. Very good .
