Subtitled: "This poem is based on actual incidents in the life of a prisoner who has spent over forty years an inmate of a Western penitentiary," the booklet contained several poems, intertwining California gold, Indians, and life in prison. The poems were, presumably, collected by J. W. Mulholland, President of the British Columbia Prospectors' Protective Association. OCLC lists one copy at McMaster University in Ontario, with none other in the trade (as of May 2019). Very good .
