His current study of artist Mikhail Nesterov (1862 - 1942), who was closely associated with the Peredvizhniki i Mir Iskusstva, was largely based on his personal experiences and recollections after their meeting in 1911.The design of the book was created at the studio and publishing house of Nataliia Butkovskaia (1878 - 1948). She was an actor, director, and publisher and employed various artists to work on designing the books she published.
