Bookplate of scientist, author, and antiquary Thomas Glazebrook Rylands to front board verso (also a small, manuscript signature of his son (?) T. Paul Rylands).Henry O'Brien (1808â€â€oe1835) was an Irish author and classicist. Fluent in Latin and Greek, O'Brien translated the current book from Spanish priest and historian Joaquin Lorenzo Villanueva's (1757â€â€oe1837) original edition, in which the latter attempted to prove the existence of an ancient Phoenician colonization of Ireland.
