An unusual (OCLC lists only two copies in Canada and the UK), early, one-volume issue of Pushkin's works, it contained not only his best-known works, but also never-published-before letters and poems, and a wonderful biographical essay on Pushkin by A. Skabichevskii. Although obviously well-loved and read nearly half-to-death, the book is still an important edition and a beautiful example of 19th-century Russian publishing. Ill.: 0. 2.
