(ca 1915); oblong 6 x 9; twelve leaves of lithographed, sepia plates mounted on yellow card stock, each with a tissue guard; plates 5 1/2 x 3 1/2, sheets 8 3/4 x 5 1/2; textured brown wraps, tied with a decorative string; ink stain to left margin of front wrap (not affecting plates); a few nicks and cuts to edges; small smudge to lower margin of first sheet, else very minor internal wear; subtitled; overall in very good- condition. Published as a fundraiser by a charitable organization for orphans, the album contained magnificent portraits of members of the Imperial family and allies from the Triple Entente, including Nicholas II and his wife Aleksandra Feodorovna, their son Prince Aleksei Nikolaevich, their cousin King George V, French President Raymond Poincare, and others.
