"An improved sample copy," it was intended as a display at retail businesses and as an "educational tool" for employees. Although quite tiny, the pamphlet managed to list 62 "Don'ts," including "Don't chew gum or tobacco," "Don't fail to remember that it is for your interest as well as your employers, for you to take short lunch hours on busy days," and "Don't swing or twirl your scissors, lead pencil or other tools of trade." Also printed on the last page was Chas. A. Stevens & Bro. - a Chicago chain of department stores, founded in 1888 (perhaps, one of the locations, where the brochure was displayed). Ill.: 0. 2.
