Bookplates to front boards verso of Dr. Robert Alway Peers (1875 - 1970) - renowned, nationally-recognized expert on tuberculosis and adviser to the Governing Board of the famous Weimar Sanitarium. Gaston Jean Baptiste de Roquelaure (1617-1683) was the Duke of Roquelaure and the son of Marshal of France Antoine de Roquelaure. He was also a courtier during the reign of Louis XIV in Versailles.
