First edition; 8 x 11"; chromolithograph illustrations from various Dickens characters with short quotes from the corresponding works; loose sheets of heavy textured card stock for every month (though there are two small holes to top margin where there might have been a decorative string binding them); lacking the month of February, else very light wear - small nick to upper corner of first sheet and minor rubbing to edges - in about near fine condition. An unusual piece of Dickensiana as well as an example of the beautiful printing style of Raphael Tuck & Sons which was one of the best known printing companies during the 'postcard boom' of the late 1800s and early 1900s.
