In particular, the Instituto Cubano del Arte y la Industria Cinematrograficos (ICAIC) was established in result of the culture law developed by the revolutionary government. This new governing system believed that film media was to be the impetus for education and spreading nationalist ideas to the public. The plan to disseminate these ideas involved travel film exhibitions, of which Bolivia was one of the countries who hosted a week of Cuban film. From the collection of Herbert C.V.
