Marbled boards and endpapers, top edge gilt. Name plate of noted collector Benjamin DeForest Curtiss on front pastedown of each volume. Power was a well known Irish comedian, actor and author. He toured the Eastern U.S. extensively and was lost at sea returning home from his last tour of 1841. He was great-grandfather of the Hollywood actor of the same name.
