Very good: some spotting, tape repair on first title page to inner margin. Unpaginated, IV, 208, IV Pages, 33 coloured plates each with its leaf of descriptive text. Gilt title to spine. An extremely rare work it being doubtful if many more copies were produced than would be necessary to supply one to each of the 99 subscribers listed. Loth himself was a member of the Grand Orient of France and its representative of the Grand Lodge of Scotland, although described on the title page of this work as the 30 he is known to have later achieved the 33 and to have obtained a warrant for a Supreme Council of the Order of New Zealand. Exceptionally rare! Original invoice of 1979 from Bow Windons Book Shop included.
