A little toned but clean inside. Contemporary brown marbled calf, spines gilt with red labels. Quite worn, small loss to head cap vol. I, boards rubbed, corners frayed, but sound and still good, attractive copies. Ownership inscriptions to front endpapers of each vol. of Mary Ann Druce and of Helen Banning. Additional engraved title-page reads: 'Milton's Works, Vol. I forming part of Cooke's Pocket Edition of the Original & Complete Works of Select British Poets, or Entertaining Political Library containing the Poetic Productions of the most Esteemed British Bards.
