Dark brown textured skiver, raised bands and gilt title to spine, a.e.g., dark green endpapers. Spine a little rubbed, very good. Initials F.R. to preliminary blank. 'Probably the second book published by Pickering' (Keynes), this first edition of Horace, exquisitely printed in diamond type by C.
