"Obscoena e textu Ausoniano resecta" and indices at rear. Very clean internally. Later (c.1800) tan sheep neatly rebacked, marbled edges and endpapers. Corners a little worn but a very good copy indeed. Blind embossed coat of arms to each board, of John Bligh, 4th Earl of Darnley (1767-1831) with the motto 'Finem Respice'.
